Giorgio Main Substation is connected in a feed-through configuration and powered by the 150-kV RTN underground high-voltage line \u201cMisterbianco-Zia Lisa.\u201d This connection links it to Terna\u2019s \u2018Misterbianco\u2019 substation and the \u201cZia Lisa\u201d Main Substation. The substation complies with the \u201cLiberty 1A\u201d standard, with some variations: only one power transformer is installed, there is a second container, and provisions have been made for a possible future connection of a third HV line.  <\/p><p>The main technical characteristics of the system are:<br\/>&#8211; HV operating voltage: 150 kV<br\/>&#8211; HV current rating: 1250 A<br\/>&#8211; Three-phase short-circuit current AT: max 31.5 kA<br\/>&#8211; MV operating voltage: 20 kV<br\/>&#8211; MV rated current: 1600
