Project description
The “Oreto” Primary Substation will be connected in a feed-through configuration to the 150-kV “Cappuccini-Ciminna” transmission line. The facility is located on a site with a total area of approximately 15,500 square meters.
The project involves the construction of a new 150/20 kV HV/MV switchgear, featuring a high-voltage (HV) section with an operating voltage of 150 kV and a rated current of 1,250 A. The three-phase short-circuit current on the HV side has a maximum value of 31.5 kA.
The medium-voltage (MV) section will operate at an operating voltage of 20 kV and a rated current of 1,600 A. The system will be designed to provide protection, management, and remote control functions for the power grid.
