Project description
The project involved the construction and commissioning of a new main substation designed to enhance the capacity and reliability of the electricity distribution network within the municipal area and neighbouring areas.
The Primary Substation comprises a high-voltage (HV) section, two 40 MVA ONAN 150/20 kV HV/MV power transformers installed outdoors, and a medium-voltage (MV) section comprising GSCM690 switchgear. The protection, management, supervision and remote control equipment is housed within a dedicated building, in accordance with the latest technical and functional standards, in order to ensure high levels of safety, service continuity and operational efficiency.
