Construction of the HV/MV Primary Substation named “Valdaro”

The project involved the construction of a primary substation to serve the Valdaro area, designed to integrate with the existing power grid and support infrastructure development in the region. The facility consists of a high-voltage section with two hybrid modules and two power transformers, as well as a 24-kV air-insulated medium-voltage section.

The control room was designed using advanced technological solutions, including protection, control, monitoring, and remote control systems, to ensure high standards of safety, efficiency, and operational continuity.

The facility is connected to the grid in a feed-in/feed-out configuration and is powered directly by the adjacent RTN substation, which is interconnected with the 132-kV “Colunga–Bussolengo” line, ensuring high system reliability and optimal management of energy flows.
