Equipment Service Officer

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Management and Maintenance of Mechanical Vehicles and Equipment:

• Coordination of routine and extraordinary maintenance activities of earthmoving machines (e.g. excavators, bulldozers, mechanical shovels) and other equipment;
• Monitoring the operating conditions of the vehicles to ensure efficiency, safety and compliance with regulations;
• Management of deadlines for audits, periodic inspections and safety certifications.

Planning and Operational Optimisation:

• Organisation of maintenance activities to minimise downtime and optimise equipment utilisation on construction sites;
• Development and implementation of strategies for improving operational performance and reducing operating costs;
• Requesting and analysing quotations in order to define the tender budget.

Supplier and spare parts management:

• Coordination with suppliers of maintenance services, spare parts and equipment, ensuring the quality and timeliness of interventions;
• Management of purchase orders, in support of the manager, for necessary spare parts and materials, ensuring cost control and adherence to the budget.
  

Monitoring e Reporting:

• Preparation of periodic reports on the maintenance status of the vehicles, analysis of faults and repairs carried out;
• Use of management software for monitoring operational data and managing technical documentation.

Sicurezza e Conformità Normativa:

• Organisation of training sessions for personnel operating and maintaining vehicles to promote safe and efficient practices;

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: secondary school or technical diploma or degree;
• Experience: at least 5 years’ experience in fleet management, preferably in the construction or agricultural sector;
• Technical knowledge: basic knowledge in maintenance of construction machinery and work equipment, knowledge of safety regulations, fleet management;
• Skills: use of PC and basic operation of mechanical equipment;
• Languages: Italian.

PLACE OF WORK

The workplace is located in Via Rosanea 112, Sant’Anastasia, 80048 (NA), but willingness to travel is required.
