We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified Tender Clerk with a strong attention to detail and an organised and methodical approach. The ideal candidate has an in-depth knowledge of public and private procurement regulations and procedures and extensive experience in the preparation and management of tender documentation required for participation.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


Tender Management

  • Research and identify calls for tenders according to specific guidelines;
  • Analysis of tender notices, preparation and management of administrative, technical and economic documentation required for participation;
  • Organise and carry out inspections necessary for tender participation;
  • Requesting and analysing quotations in order to define the tender budget.


Monitoring Deadlines

  • Monitoring of submitted offers;
  • Managing the calendar of deadlines and fulfilments of tender procedures;
  • Constant monitoring and updating of accredited supplier databases/portals.


Verification and Documentary Control

  • Checking the conformity of tender documentation with regulatory and tender requirements.


Negotiation and Contractual Support

  • Assistance in contract negotiations with contractors;
  • Preparation of contractual documents required following tender award.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: diploma or degree in engineering, economics, law or related disciplines;
  • Experience: at least 5 years of experience in a similar role in the building or construction sector;
  • Technical knowledge: excellent knowledge of the Procurement Code; familiarity with the main Microsoft Office software, Adobe, Price and Rate Schedules, Primus;
  • Skills: excellent organisational and problem solving skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a team and to manage complex competitions;
  • Languages: good knowledge of English, written and spoken.

The workplace is located in Via Rosanea 112, Sant’Anastasia, 80048 (NA) but willingness to travel is required.
